What are GAP plans?
These plans are supplemental health insurance products that may cover some gaps in traditional Group Medical or Exchange-based plans.
The plans include includes hospital indemnity, critical illness, accident, out-of-pocket medical expense, specific and aggregate stop loss, cancer, dental, and vision insurance.
Each is available as an employer-paid benefit, an employee-paid benefit, or both.
